SUMMER 2022: New Student Registration Is Now Open!

Would you like to join our growing student community?  If you are interested in working together to make veritable progress as a Buddhist, you need a trustworthy teacher.  Please visit my training page to learn more,  read student reviews, or contact me to discuss becoming a Buddhist trainee today.
Buddhism can be really nebulous and challenging, so it can be really helpful to talk with someone skilled and trustworthy about your practice and the many questions that you have.
Peaceful pond used for mindfulness meditation and insight practice.

I am an advanced Buddhist teacher, life counsellor, and enlightenment mentor.

I provide training, teaching, and counselling that helps you make observable progress along the Buddhist path.  If you have a dedicated daily practice and possess a sincere desire to make real and measurable progress toward Nibbāna, then read on, as you've just stumbled onto a cool little place hidden in a niche corner of the internet.

Achieve streamentry by turning every moment into dharma practice.

I can help you attain your moment of awakening by helping you cut through the noise of contemporary Buddhism and carve out a personal practice that tightly focuses on the practices, views, and ideas that point directly toward streamentry, and then I can help you to continue your progress through the defined stages of Buddhist enlightenment.

Stay motivated as you see yourself changing.

I will also work with you to recognise the views, practices, and habitual behaviours that hold you back from making the progress that you work so hard to achieve as we transition your dharma practice and your time spent in meditation into real-world application and practice.

Learning how to effectively turn every challenging moment into another moment that you can practice Buddhist mind training—thereby cultivating the skills, views, and practices that are actually required and supportive for spiritual growth—is the keystone to significantly accelerating your progress and making fundamental improvements to your life in ways that cannot be achieved without explicitly
doing so.

Teaching people how to do this is exactly what I do, and it's what will lead you to your moment of entry into the Buddhist stages of enlightenment.

What I offer is very special.

This isn't hocus pocus, this is hard work.
And, while it certainly isn't for everyone, if it's for you... it's going to change your life.

Your Applied-dharma Trainer and Buddhist Teacher.

Picture of Michael Turner Buddhist Enlightenment Trainer and Dharma Teacher
Hello! My name is Michael Turner.  I am an ariya-puggala, a pre-monastic Early Buddhist teacher, a resilience counsellor, and a full-time Buddhist anagārika.  I've spent almost 30 years learning and cultivating what I do, and what I do goes far beyond meditation and dharma.  I work with dedicated Buddhist practitioners teaching them how to attain measurable spiritual progress toward Nibbāna. This special kind of one-on-one training isn't readily available to lay practitioners and I hope to do my part for as long as I can before I complete my journey toward full Buddhist monastic ordination.

Please review my about me page to learn more about my style and what it is that I teach.

Reviews from People Like You.

"My sessions with Michael were truly an invaluable experience. His deeply intuitive nature and his insights into the dharma and the business world directly helped me make many positive steps to advance my professional career and my personal life in ways that I wouldn't have expected from a meditation or Buddhist coach and he has become a trusted executive advisor to me."
- Robert H.
"Following our most recent session together, something Michael said triggered a major breakthrough, when an old habit pattern that I was wearing like a shield finally came undone."
- C. Howell
"Michael's insight on how to apply the teachings to my everyday life was direct and surprisingly on point. I now understand concepts I spent so much effort trying to get before."
- Veronica T.
"With Mike's help I learned that meditation and dharma go deeper than I ever imagined and how I can use them to practice my off-the-cushion ability to take a step back when a judgment or a strong emotion suddenly arrives. I can see them coming now, as if I see it all from a distance and I no longer react to my anger and frustration which too often had drawn me into conflicts over and over again."
- Andy D.
"Michael is kind, patience, and compassionate but he is also direct and doesn't let me make any excuses or buy into any of my own stories. We got back on the mat together and I learned a lot from him. I would suggest him to anybody who is having a hard time with "the practical application of Buddhism" or their motivation to meditate."
- Mike P.
"Michael helped me actually understand the point of using dharma instead of just reading and knowing it and to use it as part of my meditation. I can breathe again and handle my stress and problems much better."
- Kevin T.

Anagārika Michael Turner Buddhist Teacher Philosopher, Dharma Coach, Meditation Instructor, Business Leader, Sales Trainer, and Mentor
Michael Turner is a pre-monastic ariya-puggala and a full-time Buddhist anagārika; and he is also a deeply accomplished streamentry mentor and applied-dharma teacher. He emphasises and teaches the practical application of the Buddha's teachings in our everyday lives to overcome our human problems that stand in the way of making measurable progress toward Buddhist enlightenment and he is particularly adept at explaining them in ways that can be easily understood and practiced by Western Buddhists. He has been meditating and cultivating the views and techniques that generate indestructible resilience, inner-strength, and direct experience for almost 30 years and has helped countless numbers of students and peers enhance and course-correct their practice to make veritable progress along the path toward Nibbāna.
